Drive from Jaipur to Agra. I believe we made it in record time, as our driver must have thought he was in a racecar game and needed to win first place. We were swerving in and out of traffic like our life depending on it. Quite entertaining…I’m not going to lie.

Checked in at the Radisson (Carlson Hotels). We had a little down time so the girls took advantage of the spa and got massages while Raj took a little nap.

Left hotel around 8am for the Taj Mahal which was approximately 1KM down the road. Man Singh was our tour guide and very funny. He wanted to make sure we saw everything and “make lots of pictures.” We entered through the east gate. You can’t really see the Taj until you walk through the front (North) gate. The moghul king built the Taj for his 3rd wife according to her dying wishes – 1. Never marry again, 2. Take care of our children, 3. Build a big “A” building for my burial.

The Taj was amazing and I think everyone should go. Check out the pictures.

There really isn’t much to see in Agra besides the Taj Mahal so we got back into the car and set out on the Expressway to Delhi. FYI: If you pay 365 rupees you can take the Expressway to Delhi and it will take you 3hours or you can take the free side roads, which will take you around 5hours.
